Video: ‘Take Courage’ From The Next ‘It’s Kirby Time’ Story

A couple of weeks ago, Nintendo dropped a surprise video featuring our favourite pink puffball in an adorable storybook-style tale. Now, the Big N has dropped the second video in the ‘It’s Kirby Time’ series.

This episode is called ‘Take Courage’, and it’s about exactly what you think it is — finding a magical fruit that will fill you with courage if you eat it. Hold on, fruit? Are we sure it’s a fruit and not cake? Of course, it’s not about the fruit, but about Kirby’s determination and kindness. Awww. We should really replace all of those moral fables with Kirby videos, we think. (We don’t. We’re not educators. But do show these to your kids, nephews, nieces — the lot!)

Of course, it was also Kirby’s birthday yesterday! Masahiro Sakurai, the original creator of Kirby, shared some stories on Twitter on the 30th anniversary of Kirby’s Dream Land, including how the now-famous dance was created.

We also did a few things to commemorate the occasion — have a look at those if you haven’t already:

We want to hear from you if you shared this installment of ‘It’s Kirby Time’ with your family. Drop us a comment if you did — actually, you can just comment even if you kept this cuteness to yourself.
