Video: Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Showdown Seen In New Super Bowl Trailer

Sonic and Knuckles facing off in front of a Chaos Emerald? As they’d say in the Super Bowl: Now that’s a home run!

This latest Sonic the Hedgehog 2 trailer will be aired during this weekend’s Super Bowl game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals, which will take place on Sunday, February 13th at 6:30pm ET / 3:30pm PT.

The “Big Game Spot” includes a short bump of Tails, Sonic, and Knuckles being friendly on the pitch, before launching into a 30-second trailer that highlights the rivalry between Ben Schwartz’s Sonic and Idris Elba’s Knuckles. There’s even a Marvel reference, and a giant Eggman robot. What more could you want?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will be in cinemas on April 8th.
