Random: Euphoria Star Hunter Schafer Thinks It “Would Be Cool” To Play Princess Zelda In A Live-Action Movie

As you’ve probably already noticed, video games are all the rage in Hollywood right now. Sonic the Hedgehog is flying high, Halo just got its own television series, and later this year Super Mario will be getting an animated movie.

Of course, talks have popped up about what other Nintendo franchises could be adapted to the big screen, and one that’s come up time and time again is the fantasy series The Legend of Zelda. Recently, a TikTok went viral about model/actress Hunter Schafer playing Princess Zelda in a live-action movie, based on what she wore to a Vanity Fair party.

While there’s been no official word on if we’ll ever see a cinema project like this, Schafer has now actually responded to this video at a red carpet event for the HBO series Euphoria, stating how she would love to do it:

“Wow, I mean yeah, like that would be cool…like an elf and I played that video a bunch when I was a kid, that’s such a good game.”

Again, she’s up for it…and she’s clearly played at least one of the games growing up – so she could definitely channel her own Zelda experiences in the role.

What do you think though? Reckon Hunter would be a good fit for a project like this? Leave your own thoughts down below.
