Random: Check Out This Adorable ‘Coat’ For Your SNES

If there’s one video game accessory that’s been unfairly ignored over the decades, it’s console clothing. We live in a world where people will happily dress up their pets without any fear of rebuke, so why not their beloved gaming systems, too?

It would seem that, once upon a time in Japan, someone thought this might catch on because we’ve just spotted this gorgeous thing on Twitter:

Yes, that is what you think it is. A coat for your SNES (well, Super Famicom in this case, but we’re all friends here). There’s a flap that’s secured with velcro which can be lifted up to reveal the cartridge slot and eject button, and the controller ports are exposed at the front. There’s even a hole in the fabric to allow the power light to shine through. It’s a masterpiece.

While we’ve not been able to say for sure, it would seem that this is an official product. Can you shed any more light on this amazing piece of gaming merchandise? Would you be keen to dress up your games console in clothing? Let us know in the comments.
