Nintendo Shares A Launch Trailer For Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass

Hey, if you’re reading this and not playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe right now, thanks! But seriously, you can and probably should be playing through the courses added in Wave 1 of the Booster Course Pass right now. We won’t tell anyone.

To celebrate the launch, Nintendo has unveiled a launch trailer (above), which — if you haven’t had the time to check the courses out yet — gives you a glimpse at all eight tracks on offer.

In case you you’ve been othrwise engaged over the last couple of weeks, here are the eight courses available to play from today:

Golden Dash Cup

Lucky Cat Cup

The best part about this DLC pass is, even if you can’t quite afford to buy it yet, you can still play the courses online if you don’t own them! From 21st/22nd March, if you have a standard Switch Online subscription, the Wave 1 courses will pop up in the ‘Random selection’ when playing Global or Regional races online. It’s a bit hit-and-miss, of course, but sooner or later you’ll get to race around the new tracks if you play online.

We’ve even got a little showcase of what the courses look and play like courtesy of the lovely Alex, Felix, and Zion from the NL YouTube team.

Have you tried out the new courses yet? Let us know in the comments.
