Nintendo Provides Ten Useful Tips For Triangle Strategy

The tactical RPG genre can prove a tricky nut to crack for many gamers (this writer included!), so it’s always nice when someone lends you a helping hand.

There are some excellent guide options out there for the recently released Triangle Strategy, too (ahem). In this case, though, Nintendo itself has divulged 10 ‘tactical tips’ to help give you an edge in battle. They’re pretty good too! None of this “check out the in-game settings to adjust your brightness” nonsense; no, these are genuinely useful hints and tips that are sure to give both newcomers and veterans a decent leg up.

Here’s a rundown of the 10 tactical tips from Nintendo, but be sure to head over to the official page for a further breakdown of each. They’re pretty self-explanatory, though:

  1. Positioning is the key to victory
  2. Carefully prepare for each encounter
  3. Wield the elements
  4. Speed is a virtue
  5. Train at the tavern
  6. Trade for powerful items
  7. Promote your allies
  8. Stock up on items
  9. Sharpen your swords (and other weapons)
  10. Explore your surroundings

There you have it; 10 tips to hopefully start you on the right track with Triangle Strategy. Remember to check out our full review of the game if you’re still on the fence; we said it was a “triumph for Artdink and Square Enix” and awarded it a 9/10.
