The latest Nintendo Download update for North America has arrived, and it’s bringing new games galore to the eShop in your region. As always, be sure to drop a vote in our poll and comment down below with your potential picks for the week. Enjoy!

Switch eShop – Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

Mario Golf – Tee up with Mario when the Nintendo 64 game Mario Golf hits the fairway on Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online library. Get into the swing of things with 14 characters from the Mushroom Kingdom, including familiar faces like Yoshi, Wario, Baby Mario, Peach and Donkey Kong. Choose from 10 different modes, like Speed Golf, Ring Shot and Tournament, and even engage in multiplayer swing-fests with up to three friends in certain modes. Originally released on the Nintendo 64 in 1999, Mario Golf has Wario himself proclaiming, “You’re gonna love it!” Mario Golf will be available starting April 15 for players with a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership.

Switch eShop – Highlights

STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed (Aspyr, April 20, $19.99) – You are Starkiller, Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, and you must destroy all who stand in your way. Use the Joy-Con motion controls and take advantage of devastating Force powers and lightsaber combos to do Darth Vader’s bidding and defeat Jedi Masters on familiar worlds, including Cloud City and the Wookiee home world Kashyyyk. You can even challenge a friend to a one-on-one showdown in the local multiplayer Duel mode! STAR WARS: The Force Unleashed will be available on April 20.

Nobody Saves the World (DrinkBox Studios, April 14, $24.99) – When the ancient Calamity re-awakens, who can save the world? Nobody! (That’s you – you’re Nobody.) Master the art of transformation to become a Slug, Ghost, Dragon and more in this new take on action RPGs from the creators of Guacamelee! Complete quests to discover and swap between more than 15 varied and distinct Forms. Mix and match abilities in unexpected ways to unlock and complete even more challenging quests. Explore a vast overworld – on your own or with a friend online – while clearing shape-shifting dungeons to stop The Calamity and save the world!

A Sketchbook About Her Sun (Fantastic Studio, April 15, $4.99) – Confused about her feelings for someone, Lucia, the main character, decides to flee from her city and wanders through a smaller town where she’s never been, searching for herself while still tormented by the thought of the person she’s attracted to.The project is an interactive experience divided into 11 segments, each corresponding to a song from Red Ribbon’s new album “Planet X”. Lose yourself into Lucia’s mindscape, divided between her thoughts, drawings, and music she’s listening to through her journey to re-discover her own self.

Aery Early Birds Bundle (EpiXR, April 14, $24.99) – The “Aery Early Birds Bundle” features the first 3 titles of the Aery Series. Experience the original roots of the Aery Seires, lean back and enjoy the feeling of flying. All 3 games are story-driven non-violent exploration games where a little bird has to collect shards of its memory in order to discover new worlds and continue with the storyline.

Air Hockey Puzzles (YeTa Games, April 14, $2.99) – Carefully move your puck and clear the board.

Arcade Archives PAC-LAND (HAMSTER, April 7, $7.99) – “PAC-LAND” is a side-scrolling action game released by NAMCO (BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc.) in 1984. The title follows PAC-MAN on a quest to bring lost fairies home to Fairyland. What strange events will PAC-MAN encounter as he leaves town, then passes through the mountains and forests? PAC-MAN’s charming adventures begin here!

Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread (MY.COM, April 13, $19.99) – Blast Brigade vs. The Evil Legion of Dr. Cread is a 2D metroidvania adventure inspired by the popcorn-chomping thrills of ’80s action flicks. Explore and backtrack through a colorful comic-style world, using your platforming skills, puzzle-solving wits, and an explosive arsenal of weapons and abilities to save the world!

Boreal Tenebrae (RedDeerGames, April 8, $6.99) – You play as multiple characters, each with their own story, and travel to actual locations in town and dark versions of them. In this nightmare, you have to solve the murder, search for your missing sister Sarah, and complete the mysterious ritual to save the dying town. Will you be able to unravel all the dark secrets of Boreal Tenebrae?

Bunny Mahjo (DillyFrame, April 14, $2.99) – Classic Mahjong Solitaire is not single-player game anymore. You can play solo or in couch co-op in 3d-environment. Play together, win together, unlock more figures together.

Bush Hockey League (V7 Entertainment, April 14, $15.99) – Experience hockey the way it was meant to be played in this old-school arcade-style 5v5 hockey game where blood on the ice is just another day at the rink. 70s afros, big mustaches, no helmets, dirty hits, bench-clearing brawls, goalie fights, stick fights – that’s Bush Hockey League.

Car Mechanic Simulator Pocket Edition 2 (Ultimate Games, April 15, $15.49) – Car Mechanic Simulator Pocket Edition 2 challenges players to repair, paint, tune and drive cars. Find classic, unique cars in the new Barn Find module and Junkyard module. Game also includes car auctions where old cars are available for resale or purchased for your collection! Each mission offers its own unique challenge of varying difficulty and time constraints to meet. Additional tools are available for purchase if needed. You can eventually upgrade your garage to include specific equipment such as lacquer sprayer or a parts warehouse.

Cat Cafe Manager (Freedom Games, April 14, $19.99) – Be warned, though, there’s some real catty mysteries in our town – and a strange black cat roaming the streets…nothing you can’t handle right? The life of a Cat Cafe Manager awaits! Your grandmother left you a small cafe in the somber village of Caterwaul Way…it’s up to you to fix the place up, impress the locals, and befriend the local cat population. Time to roll up those sleeves, break out the tools, and get that creative coffee flowin’. Your cat cafe can be the talk of the town with the right attitude, menu, and (of course) the cats. That’s right, Caterwaul Way is home to a plethora of extraordinary felines. It’s in the name afterall! To the delight of the villagers, the local cafe can become their home. Who knows, maybe their presence will loosen tight tongues and help discover the succulent secrets of Caterwaul Way…

Chess Cartoons (Kistler Studios, April 8, $5.99) – Play a hilarious game of chess with your friend in Chess Cartoons ! If no friend is around climb up the ELO ladders and play against an increasing difficult computer controller opponent starting at ELO 50 or just play a simple game game against a computer controlled opponent and chose one of three difficulties. Choose your color and start as white or play as black.

Death Park 2 (EpiXR, April 14, $6.99) – Start your adventure in one of the best scary games and creepy horror games! In the horror you will find yourself in a creepy city filled with secrets, monsters, and adventure. Take an action and save your sister from the clown, find out the mystery of Death Park and the origin of the scary clown! Are you ready to fight your nightmares and various monsters that have flooded Farland? Can you cope with all puzzles that await you in this horror story?

Extreme Speed Bundle Go! Fish Go! Adrenaline Rush, Jet Ski Rush (Baltoro Minis, April 15, $9.99) – Test your reflexes with three games that are all about speed! Complete obstacle filled water courses in JetSki Rush! Escape from your pursuers and crash as much as you can in Adrenaline Rush Help a school of 5 fish escape from the aquarium in Go! Fish Go!

Flower Shop: Summer In Fairbrook (Ratalaika Games, April 15, $9.99) – Struggling student Steve is shipped off by his dad to his uncle’s farm for the summer so he can learn responsibility. Take control of Steve as he spends a summer in Fairbook, working on the farm, making new friends, and maintaining old relationships. You can raise and sell your own crops, spend time with local girls, and schedule activities for your week in advance. The game features nine different endings that change based on your decisions throughout the game. Will Steve become a good, responsible farmer, find love, or both?

Formula Retro Racing (GCA Studio Games, April 15, $14.99) – Featuring the fast and exciting gameplay that the genre is known for, Formula Retro Racing captures the essence of old school racing games with low poly graphics, a retro soundtrack and high speed action. This revival of the classic-arcade racer takes advantage of modern hardware with smooth high-frame rate visuals as well as improved car handling and physics.

Gotta Protectors: Cart of Darkness (8-4, April 14, $14.99) – It’s another fine morning in Magicadia…except your castle has suddenly turned into a tank. And what’s this about a dark prophecy that could lead to the end of all video games? A CONFUSION IS YOU. Choose your Gotta Protectors and get ready to hack, slash, and spell-sling your way through an epic campaign of over 100 thumb-blistering maps—plus dozens more available as optional DLC bonus chapters! The rules are simple. Put Princess Lola into the castle to start it rolling down the tracks. At the end of the tracks is an enemy castle. Smash YOUR castle into THEIR castle to destroy it—but don’t let the enemies wipe out the Princess’s HP first!

Hidden Shapes: Animals + Lovely Cats (QUByte Interactive, April 14, $3.99) – Hidden Shapes: Animals + Lovely Cats are a collection with two beautiful and relaxing minimalist hand-drawn jigsaw puzzles that have two options to choose, cats or animals in general. Both games in this bundle have similar features and playthrough, in the Cats edition, the player will have the opportunity to play with elements of the classic jigsaw puzzle with the a lot of cute cat arts and in the Animal version, the player will have the same features, but with different levels and now with a diversity of animals in this theme.

Inner Voices (No Gravity Games, April 14, $7.99) – Tune yourself to the voices lurking in the head of John Blake – the tormented man dwelling in a trap… that only you can guide him out of.

Labyrinth of the Chaka King (Studio Dragonet, April 14, $7.00) – Legend has it that the Chaka Kingdom disappeared overnight without a trace, and the Tenryaku sisters are determined to solve the mystery.
One day, the archaeologist duo discovers a subterranean entrance leading into the fabled Chaka King’s Labyrinth. What twists and turns does it hold in store for them…?

Legend of Ixtona (KEMCO, April 7, $14.99) – Peace was supposed to prevail in the lands of Ixtona, after a long war came to an end under the wise king, until a sudden plot and conspiracy threaten again its peace. Kyle, the prince of Ixtona now has to throw himself and his allies into a battle that will ultimately decide the fate of his kingdom. Throw yourself into turn-based strategy battles in different maps designed from an isometric view. Each character is specialized in melee, ranged or magic attacks. You can also hire new customizable characters, invest in the village for research and development, or change class to develop and strengthen your army. Enjoy all the rest of this full-scale strategy RPG with beautiful pixel artstyle!

Lumberhill (ALL IN! GAMES, April 15, $14.99) – A crazy multiplayer party game where lumberjacks try to get their tasks done and nature fights them every step of the way. Race against the clock, fulfill tasks, fight wildfires, pirates, and extremely annoying monkeys as you travel around the world and through time. Play in co-op, pvp, or solo mode!

Mech Mechanic Simulator (Console Labs, April 8, $19.99) – Mechs are our future! What happens when cars are no longer around? Gigantic robots take over! Powerful, destructive and strong… They are used in sports, at war… and for you, they are moneymakers. Become Mech Mechanic and open your own workshop to dismantle, fix and rebuild gigantic robots. Every mech has its own special purpose and as a Mech Mechanic not only will you be able to diagnose, repair or change the parts but also paint, update and accommodate mechs for their new function. Even if you’re the best Mech Mechanic in the world, you’ll find the parts that are unfixable. Do what you can with what you’ve got, but if you find some junk among your parts… dismount it and order new ones. If you don’t like wasting things, don’t worry! Mech Mechanic Simulator lets you remanufacture and renew the parts. It’s your choice: sell, recast or restore your parts!
Gain some respect among other corporations and get access to more advanced machinery. But be careful, it’s not that easy. You’ll have a lot of expenses. Raw materials and equipment are not cheap, the quality of your parts can drop rapidly, and some of the customers have really high demands. If you don’t want to be put out of business, you’ll have to make your workshop look good as well. Can you maintain a good reputation? Become an expert in your field and compete with the most powerful corporations of the future. Who’s going to produce the most modern, technologically advanced mech? Make sure it’s you!

Moorhuhn Jump and Run ‘Traps and Treasures 2’ (Higgs Games, April 14, $12.99) – Welcome to the foot of the Shlimalaya! A new challenge for daring treasure hunter Moorhuhn Indy! Pinball Freedom (CGA Studios, April 14, $9.99) – Go Back to the Future with our Sci-fi table or indulge in a tale as old as time with our Fairytale themed machine. With our first-person, single-player simulation you’re encouraged to channel your 90s kid as you compete to make it to the top of the leaderboard. With five uniquely-themed distinct tables, get in on the action!

Pixel Game Maker Series OMA2RI ADVENTURE (Gotcha Gotcha Games, April 14, $4.95) – A combination of a simple yet satisfying platformer & speedrun! Can you beat the record of the quickest clear times on all levels? You can practice the stages you’ve completed at any moment, giving you the chance to refine your skill! There are a total of 8 stages, and if you greet all 66 Jizo statues, you’ll obtain a mysterious ancient document!

Pretty Girls Rivers (Eastasiasoft, April 14, $5.99) – Tile-matching action gets a new alluring twist in Pretty Girls Rivers! In this fast-paced puzzler, you’ll need to find pairs of tiles similar to mahjong solitaire, but instead of having stacks to clear, Rivers is all about patterns, obstacles and beating the clock. Sockventure (Versus Evil, April 14, $19.99) – In this challenging 2D platformer game, play as a Superhero and help the Kid to find all the missing socks inside the cursed washing machine.
