Kraino ReAnimated Looks Like Shovel Knight Crossed With Castlevania

Developer Angel Dorantes has launched a Kickstarter for side-scrolling adventure title Kraino ReAnimated, a game inspired by Castlevania, Mega Man X, and Ninja Gaiden that features handcrafted levels, slick combat, and fearsome bosses.

Angel is an ex-dev at Wayforward and is the sole developer of Kraino ReAnimated, having worked on the project for around one year at the time of writing. The project has 12 days remaining on Kickstarter with a total goal of $30,000 to come to fruition.

Here’s a list of features directly from the game’s Kickstarter page:

– Level based gameplay, with plenty of cool monsters, puzzles, hidden secrets.
– Mini boss and epic level boss fights!
– 8 Levels, from a burning town, ghoul packed graveyard, and even the heart of an active volcano! (More levels will be added if stretch goals are hit)
– 4 Auto Scroll Horse riding levels.
– Abilities, bone projectile, focus heal, hellfire punch, & frost axe!
– Merchant offering support items and relics!
– Upgradable character!

Head on over to Kickstarter if this looks like your cup of tea, and let us know in the comments what you make of the game.
