We’re getting closer and closer to Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles release date on Switch. The upcoming fighting game, based on the hugely popular anime and manga series, follows the story of the show from Unwavering Resolve Arc to the Mugen Train movie.

We know the game is getting some DLC once the game is out, but we now know just how much room we need to make on our SD cards when the base game hits on 10th June. The Nintendo UK eShop listing revealed that you’ll need 8.9GB of space to play this demon slaying beat ’em up.

That’s not a bad number for a 3D fighter, but it’s surprising just what it’s bigger than. Super Mario Odyssey only needs a 5.6GB-shaped hole to fit into, while the recently released Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a tiny bit bigger, at 5.8GB. Then there are other fighting games like ARMS, which is a pretty-small game that comes with a small 2.2GB install size. It’s much closer to Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ‘s 9.9GB though, so it’s not an unusual number.
